BOTH MY PARENTS HAD AIDS AND DIED OF THE ILLNESS THREE YEARS AGO, IN MONTHS OF EVERY OTHER. WHEN BOTH MY ELDER BROTHERS WERE IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY AND I WAS THE ONLY MEMBER OF THE FAMILY WHO WAS TOLD THE FACT BY THE DOCTOR. I DID NOT TELL MY BROTHERS BECAUSE I DIDN’T WANT TO SHOCK AND HURT THEM.
No CommentsAt this time both my brothers are engaged to be wedded and I too have a girlfriend and I don’t know what to do. Could my brothers and I have got the disease from our parents? Should I tell my brothers the fact? I am so depressed that I feel like breaking off with my girlfriend and residual unmarried all my life. I feel so feeling guilty.
If your parents had been HIV positive when your brothers and you had been born and any of you had got him disease, you would definitely have come to know long ago. Clearly your parents got the virus afterward. As to whether and of you could have got the illness from living with them it is very improbable that you would have.
But the fret and despair are extremely comprehensible. You should tell your brothers the fact. They have a right to know. It is also finest that you discuss with a doctor and ask if you and your brothers should take the test to see if you have been infected. If not anything as well, it will assure you.
Sad things and calamity occur in life. We are accountable for a few of these and others are just acts of destiny. You are surely not accountable for what take place to your parents. So there is completely no cause for you to feeling shame.Published on May 24, 2011 · Filed under: Uncategorized;
